Red Pine Embroidery was created in 2005 with the goal of providing high quality merchandise and embroidery that meets or exceeds your expectation. I “Make it Personal” by working with you to create unique embroidery designs.

A lifelong interest in sewing developed into a hobby of machine embroidery. I began with two home embroidery machines creating personal gifts for family and friends. After retiring from the corporate world, I launched Red Pine Embroidery as a home based commercial embroidery business.

I combined two of my interests – dogs and embroidery – and initially focused on stitching dog designs on apparel that I sold at dog shows. I still attend many dog shows throughout the year, but have expanded my business to include embroidery for individuals, organizations, and companies.

We took a trip to Itaska State Park in the fall the year before I launched my business. We enjoyed seeing the head waters of the Mississippi River and the largest Red Pine tree in the state, both of which are in the park. The Red Pine, also known as Norway Pine, is Minnesota's state tree, and I liked the idea of using Red Pine for my company name. It will always remind me of Minnesota, which has beautiful forests and colorful fall seasons, and our trip.
